This is addressed to the person who posted the picture of the girl with yarn braids with some blue strands, a blue bandau top, denim vest with a grey jacket, and the pic was taken in a bed room. I just wanted to say that that I was a picture of me(can't believe the notes!) and I used red heart 100% acrylic yarn and i used two strands of yarn. hope this helps!

I want to do a kinky twist type of thing with my hair this summer. But I'm super white. If I get extra hair put in, like extensions, so it's thicker... do i have to go out and buy certain ones? Because the texture of the hair used in weaves and extensions for african americans isn't he same texture thathite peole would need. Right? :l I'm so confused and i dont want to do this wrong. Do i just take the extra hair to a salon and ask them to do it??
I wouldn’t recommend you use kinky hair. I really don’t know how that would work. You should use kanekalon jumbo, and get Senegalese twists. The hair is already straight.

No, you’d have to get small braids though. I also recommend invisible braids or micros
Hi, I was wondering about how much one could expect to spend at an average salon for box braids? I want to get medium to larger length and my hair is already shoulder-length. Just want to get something simple with a side part, so the hair falls partially over my face. I've no idea how many packs I might need either, as I'd like to mix some blue into the braids too, but at the same time I'd like to keep the braids only a little longer than my shoulders. Any insight you can give me? Thanks.

I think yarn twists may take longer than Senegalese twists. I’m not sure, but the shoulder length Senegalese twists take about 4 hours which is relatively quick
Do you posted any picture of boys wearing senegalese twists? I'm thinking about try but i don't find pictures to get an idea of how it gonna come out.

No you don’t have to. Just blow dry it, make sure you can run a comb through it
