tree braid are def more damging than box braids. ( if you had hair before you'd surly lose it to tree braids)

Hey I really want to get box braids, but I do go swimming a lot in the summer. So how do you care for box braids after swimming in the pool or do you not advise swimming with braids?
I don’t really have advice but it is possible to swim with braids. I think after swimming you should wash your hair that evening to get the chlorine out.

Yes. it depends, a lot of people are extremely tender headed especially if its their first time getting braids
I have long box braids in my hair now. I really want to curl them, but I've heard that dipping the braids in hot/boiling water can damage my real hair underneath the extensions. Do you know if this is true? And if so, is there another way to curl box braids with synthetic hair?
You shouldn’t dip the braids all the way to where you hair gets wet. Just put the ends in curlers and dip the ends.
i know when u do box braids you can dip them in hot water but when u dip them in hot water do the ends get curly or do they silk up like when u dip senegalese hair in hot water?

I am planning to get box braids in the next few days. I want to use the yaky pony tail braiding hair so that I can have some curl at the end. If I knot the ends with they still last for a while? How long do you think I should leave them in using the yaky pony tail hair?

Any recommendations for getting braid with brittle edges? I was thinking of braiding it and leaving the edges out... is that weird? I'd braid them, just not with extensions.
